today i just come back from my last statistic lesson. i really like the lecturer as he give us alot of tips. moreover he dont encourage us to copy down from the slides, when he is showing us tips to our final major assignment. he recommend that we go in front to take picture of the slides. how cool is that?! furthermore, the module is assignment based no exam.
thats why today got other class students come over to crash class. i was late and the last one to enter the class so i did not have a chair. i have to quickly go to the next class to borrow one. so embarrassing..
tml is a beautiful holiday and i will be home all day to work on my assignment. hope i finish soon then i can go out and play =]]
these few days i have been blogging alot more, as i am still clearing leave. so relaxing =]]
wk commented that my blog doesnt have a chat box like my previous blog. so i am considering changing back to blogspot. unless someone can teach me how to insert a tag board like i used to have. the one i have now need to trouble my friends to register first before they can chat on the chatbox.. so ma fan..
went cara house to do baking today. we baked some cupcakes and top it up with chocolate cream and special designs on top. as i woke up at 723am this morning to assist in the baking process, i didnt remember to take any pictures. hopefully after cara upload the pictures on FB i can copy and paste from there. =] she bake just enough for the whole branch and we were too tired to bake another batch. so sorry wk, never bring some for you. we added in the whole butter! cakes are so fattening man!!
training is starting soon, just figured out how to get to the training centre with wk. =]] wk is my very smart street directory =]]
today i went to ocbc centre for the last time for my exit interview. showing my staff pass to the security as i walk pass the entrance. i will miss that feeling of belonging to ocbc. maybe because my company is a MNC, thats why they conduct exit interview for all the staff who resign. i was late this morning, but wk for the first time said that it doesnt matter. lol. a mid 40 guy did the interview for me. briefing me that i will get my last pay on 12 sept. i didnt expect to get any pay as i thought i already received it so i was quite happy about it. =]] i need to return all the staff pass, life inc card (the card that paid for all my medical bills) and all the training materials. i remembered when i was a newly recruited staff, the trainer told us many times not to throw the training materials away as we need to return them to the bank if we resign or pay 200-500 bucks. i never thought that it will be so soon. the guy asked me why i wanted to resign and why i put average when i did the survey of how i think of my boss. after some questioning, i confessed that my boss is very naggy. LOL! i hope i dont get into any trouble. but she is really one of the most demoralizing boss i have ever met.
these days i have been studying very hard for my uni. as i didnt go JC or do a business diploma when i was in poly, i have to work extra hard to understand all those formula, concept, graphs, etc.. i hope i get to go to sch everyday, so that i can at least ask my friends or chase(as in run after him physcially) after the lecturers like during my poly days. those were the good old days =] now is the self study and be independent or you can just drop out days. jiayou yawen!! lucky wk very smart i can ask him.. =]]
today i went for the 2nd lecture for the module <manage your personal finance>. lecturer commented that everybody passed the first assignment and the mark rank is among 70-80. upon hearing this i am very happy already as i passed. she also mention that there was one student who got 90. at that time i was still randomly looking around to see who got that grade..
on the way home i was still wondering if i got any probability in getting 90 for my assignment. i thought to myself that i must be contented even if i get 70. the lesser the expectation the lower the disappointment and greater the contentment.
when i check just now......
i realised i am the super duper lucky one who got 93 out of 100!! omg!! i am so lucky can!
my hardwork paid off, i remember staying up till 4.30am to do the work.
this incident gave me a sudden rush of determination to continue working hard for my other modules. JIAYOU YAWEN!!

7 August was my first day of school. The lecture was held in Singapore Poly next to Dover MRT. It was my first time there, so as usual I am lost. Luckily there were nice people like the student and security guard to help me. After collecting my books, I was directed to my lecture hall. Overall i feel that the lecture is quite interesting as i like financial topic. It was about how we can manage our own finance. Our lecturer is a young and pretty lady, she is very helpful as she practically tell us where to find the answers to our assignment. lol. That day i wore formal attire to my class as i will be going to the interview after my class at 11.30am.
